Burkina Faso and the Gurunsi area; Ghana and its National Park and coast area; Togo and the Mont Agou; Benin and its Slave past and Pendjari National Park. You can also order to discover The Tenere desert in Niegr and Sahara desert in Mali. Day after day, you will discover the African wildlife, landscapes and culture.

Ouagadougou airport. Depending to the hour of your arrival, you'll visit the National Park of Tambi Kabore (antelopes, monkeys...). Visit the village of Tiebele. 1 night in Po.

Today cross the border to go in Ghana. Visit the Catholic Mission and Church in Navrongo. Along the way, stop in some tribal villages. One night in Tamale (Ghana).

| Mole National Park |

Mole National Park, which is one of the largest national. There, discover a lot of ecosystems and wildlife (elephants, hippos, lions, leopards, antelopes...). Mole is one of the rare parks in West Africa where you can do walking safaris. Spend the night in a basic Lodge to spot the wildlife on the evening and early in the morning. You also can come back to Tamale for the night, or stay in Larabanga with a local family, depending to your request and interests. You also can stay here one day more.

Long way to go to Kumasi, which is the most beautiful city in Ghana. It's the capital of the ancient Ashanti empire. On the way, stop at the Boabeng-Fiema-Monkey-Sanctuary. Visit the National Cultural center to discover the Ashanti culture. First night in Bosumtwi lake.

Visit the Asantehene palace in Kumasi. Visit the craft villages of Bonwire and Ahwia, famous for Kente cloth wood carving. Possibility to go to the Bobiri forest to observe wildlife. Second night in Bosumtwi. |

Today travel down to the Atlantic coast. Visit Elmina, which was the first important European settlement on the Gold Coast. Visit Elmina castle (World Heritage of Unesco) which was built by the Portuguese in the year 1471 and became the largest Slave Trading Post in the World. First night in Elmina.

Visit the Cape Coast Castle, which was built in 1655 and is now a Unesco World Heritage Site. It has a fantastic museum with lots of interesting artefact's. It has been a base for the slave trade, and this visit is extremely poignant. Free time in Cape Coast. Second night in Elmina.

| Kakum National Park |

Visit the Kakum National Park, which is a rain forest. There, you can see elephants, Monkeys, 600 species of butterflies, 300 species of birds... And there is one of the rare canopy walks in Africa. 1 night in Accra.

Visit Accra, the capital of Ghana. Travel to the Accra national Museum. Tour to Lake Volta, which is the biggest man-made lake in the world. One night near the Lake Volta.

Cruise on the lake Volta (only on Sundays). The other days, travel to Keta Lagoon, near The Togo's border. This area has been protected to preserve thousands of migratory birds and it's an eco-tourism sight. Cross the border to have your first night in Lome (Togo).

Visit the small town of Kpalime, at the north of Lome. You can see butterflies in the mountain. Drive to Mt Agou, which is Togo's highest mountain. After the wet season, you'll visit the very impressive Kpime Falls. Or visit the "Centre Artisanal". Second night in Lome. |

| Aneho, Ouidah, Cotonou |

Today travel to Benin. Leave Lome early. On the way, stop in Aneho, on the coast, where there is a beautiful lagoon. Stop in Ouidah, to visit the "Musee d'Histoire" which is focused on the slave trade and Benin's cultural links with Brazil. Travel the "point of No return memorial" on the beach. It's the port where slaves left Benin to board ships to Cuba, Haiti and Brazil. First night in Cotonou.

Spend all the day in Ganvie, where there are bamboo houses. It's a fascinating village near the Lake Nokoue. Lake cruise. Second night in Cotonou accommodation in Cotonou.

Long drive day to go to Parakou, in the center of the country. Visit the huge Abomey's royal Palace, which is one of West Africa's most awesome indigenous structures. It was build in 1645. Stay in Parakou, the Benin's most ethnically diverse town, for one night.

| Pendjari National Park |

Leave Parakou to drive to the National Park of Pendjari. Spot the wildlife in the evening in the National Park. First night in Natingou or Tanguieta, depending of your needs.

Pendjari National Park. It's West Africa's best wildlife reserve. You can see hippos, lions, elephants, baboons, warthogs... You'll come back to sleep to Natitingou or Tanguieta late in the day.
